We have been piercing using the Blomdahl system for 15+ years! Blomdahl’s unique method makes it possible to have both ears pierced simultaneously. Done! The jewellery used for piercing has been specifically designed to facilitate the healing process and minimise the risk of complications. Medical plastic earrings are developed in consultation with skin specialists to be suitable for everyone, even those who suffer from allergies. You can choose between carefully selected plastic and titanium of pure medical qualities. The piercing jewellery is also designed to make the hole slightly wider in the beginning, which eases the switch to normal earrings after the healing period.

We pierce all ages, newborn to 100+ years! The system we use it is safe for all ages. However, if you are under legal age, a guardian’s consent is required. 

Our founder Linda pierces babies 0-2. Appointments are limited for babies so please book in advance. Our other senior therapists pierce ages 2+ and are available Wednesdays-Saturdays!

We offer numbing cream for all piercings if you are nervous about the pain. Everyone's pain tolerance is different! The best way to describe the feeling of a piercing is as a warm sensation, your ears feel hot like they've been pinched, you also may feel a bit of pressure. 

The piercing system we use is the best for sensitive skin! Approximately 15% of women suffer from nickel allergies, which is the most common form of contact allergy. Contact allergies can develop at any time in life, and an ear piercing makes the skin more vulnerable to inappropriate materials, such as nickel, gold, palladium, cobalt and so on. That is why Blomdahl use only the safest materials!

Pure medical plastic is unique in that it contains 0% nickel. It is made of the same type of material that is used to sew the skin, so called skin sutures. It has been used for over 40 years within the health care industry and there are no reported cases of allergy. Therefore, if you wear earrings made from medical plastic, you will not have to worry about nickel and other harmful substances when having your ears pierced!

Pure medical titanium is the safest metal. It is the same type of material that is used for medical purposes, for example in dental implants. Therefore, if you wear earrings made from pure, medical titanium, you will not have to worry about nickel and other harmful substances when having your ears pierced.

We have had a lot of experience with children on the spectrum, that have issues from a bad piercing experience in the past, even kids that are just a bit worried! Our therapists are trained to make your child feel comfortable through the whole process. 

We have found that what you say to them at home can sometimes add to their worries. We all want to be honest with our kids however we have found that is does not help them by telling them it will hurt. Instead, try to focus on positives and let us do our thing!

We offer numbing cream which is a great option for anyone that is nervous. Also, at the end of each piercing we have a surprise gift for our brave little clients so they have something to look forward to! 

Yes! We commonly hear body piercers advising against piercing with a gun. Unfortunately most of them have not heard of our system, or know little about it. The Blomdahl system is not like a regular gun piercing system you can get done at a chemist, ect.  Our system is done in one movement and the earring is as sharp as a needle. Because of how sharp the earring is, it does not create a trauma to the skin. You also never see blood with our system and the butterfly backing completely covers back, which keeps you safe from the sharp edge. 

The earrings we use are in a single use, disposable cartridge, and are loaded directly onto the device. The pre-sterilised earrings pierce the ear lobe, and at no point does the piercing device come into contact with the ear. This ensures best hygiene practices, and no contamination!
